molar mass of Co2 - 12 + 32 =44g
no. of moles in Co2 - mass ÷ molar mass
=100÷44
=2.27 mol
no. electron in C - 6 electrons
no. electron in O2 - 8*2 = 16 electrons
so, no. of electrons in Co2 - 16+6 = 22
So, total no. of electrons in 100g Co2 -. =no. of electron in Co2 x Av no.
= 22 x 6.022 x 10²³ x no. of moles
= 3.0111 x 10²¹ electrons
