Answer:-

4.5165×10²³ molecules

Explanation:-

We know that, volume of one mole of any gas at STP is 22.4L

Also at STP, number of moles of the gas 'X' is 1.

• 1 mole = 6.022 × 10²³ molecules

Hence, 6.022×10²³ molecules are present in 22.4 L of the gas 'X'.

Number of molecules present in 16.8L :-

= 16.8×6.022×10²³/22.4

= 101.1696×10²³/22.4

= 4.5165×10²³ molecules

Thus, 4.5165×10²³ molecules are present in 16.8 L of the gas 'X' at STP.

Some Extra Information:-

At STP 'Standard Temperature and Pressure', a system [only gases] are said to have :-

• Temperature = 0° C

• Pressure = 1 atm
