Answer:

number of moles,n = w/M

w= 0.18 g

M of H2O= 18 g

∴n = 0.18/18 = 0.01

1 mole contains 6.023×10²³ molecules

∴0.01 mole contains (6.023×10²³)×0.01 = 6.023×10^21 molecules

Given ,

Mass of one drop of water = 0.18 g

Molecular mass of water = 18 u

We know that ,

 \large \mathtt{ \fbox{Number  \: of  \: particles =  \frac{Given \:  mass }{Molecular  \: mass} }}

Thus ,

Number of particles = 0.18/18

Number of particles = 0.01 mol

Hence , the number of particles of water is 0.01 mol
