No. of atoms in 1 mol = 6•022 × 10^23

1 mol of SO2 gas is containing 3 atoms ( 1+2)

No. of atoms in 1 mol o SO2 = 3 × 6•022 × 10^23

22.4 L = 1 mol
11.2 L = 1/2 mol

No. of atoms in 1/2 mol of SO2 = 3 × 6•022 × 10^23 × 1/2
= 9•033 × 10^23 atoms

1 mole of any gas at STP occupies 22 .4L of volume

1mole of any gas has 6.022×10^23 Molecules

in case of 1 molecule of SO2 , has 1atom of Sulphur +2atoms of Oxygen
so total no. of atoms in 1 molecule of SO2=3

so the no. of atoms in 1mole of SO2 will be
= 3× 6.022×10^23
=> 22.4L has 3× 6.022×10^23 atoms
=> 11.2L will have (3× 6.022×10^23)×11.2/22.4
= 3/2×6.022×10^23atoms
=9.033 × 10^23atoms

hope it helps u..
