calculate the number of atoms of oxygen in 8 g of CO2 ? What would be weight of CO having the same number of oxygen atoms?​

no. of atom = 2 * 6.022 * 10^23 * 8/ 44

= 2.18 * 10^23 atom of oxygen

Now for weight of 2.18*10^23 oxygen

mole = 2.18*10^23/6.022*10^23

= 1/3 approx.

weight of oxygen = 1/3 *32 = 10.66 approx..

weight of (O) 10.66/2 = 5.33

weight of CO = 12+5.33 =17.33 gm...
