Mass Number, A = 40.

Atomic Number,. Z = 20.

Number of electrons, e = Number of protons, p

A = Z + n ( n = Number of neutrons)

40 = 20 + n

n = 40 - 20 = 20

Number of neutrons = number of protons = Z

Protons = 20

Electrons = 20.
