Calculate the number of gram atoms present in the following masses:-
i) 64g of oxygen
ii)140g of nitrogen​

Answer:

gram atoms = moles

Moles = Given mass / Molar mass

1) moles= 64 /16

= 4 moles

2) moles = 140/14

= 10 moles

i) molar mass of oxygen is 16g, it means that 1 mole oxygen weighs 16g of oxygen=64/16=4 mole

1 mole of any element contain 6.022*10^23 atom in it.
