Calculate the number of hydrogen atoms present in 0.342g of sucrose(C12H22O11).

Molar mass of C12H22O11 = 12x12 + 22x1 + 11x16 =  144 + 22 + 176 
= 342 g/mol

342g     contains    22 H atoms
1g         contains    22/342  H atoms
0.342 g contains    (22/342) x  0.342 = 22 x 10⁻³ H atoms
