1 mole of iron = 56 gm (Gram atomic mass of iron)

1 mole of iron element contains 6.022 × 1023 atoms of iron.

So, 56 gm of iron = 6.022 × 1023 atoms

2.8 gm of iron = (6.022 x 1023)/56 x 2.8

= 3.011 × 1022 atoms.
