There is a formula: n = m/Mw. (when Mw is molar weight and n is number of moles)
After you have found the number of moles of methane (CH4), you should multiply this number by avogadro number (6.022 * 10^23) and you get the number of molecules.
Here is the calculation: n = 8.0 gr / 16.043 gr/mol = 0.499 mol.
Number of molecules = 0.499 mol * (6.022 * 10^23 1/mol) = 3.005 * 10^23 molecules.

explain easy process please
one mole at STP contains the same number of molecules.
where Avogadros contant = 6.022×10^23
so from the formular
N= n×NA
But n= m÷mr
The number of mole of methane = 0.8g÷ CH4
n= 0.8g÷16g/mol
n= 0.05mol
but
N = n×NA
N = 0.05 mol × 6.022×10^23
N = 3.011×10^22 molecule
