calculate the number of molecules in 8.5g of ammonia

Khadar5252: 17 one molecule of nitrogen 3 molecule of hydrogen
Khadar5252: this means that 17g of ammonia one mole of ammonia the number of molecules in a single mole of any compound is given by avoadros constant
Khadar5252: which is 6.023×10^23 so there will be 23 molecules in ammonia
husaberigmailcom: No
Khadar5252: u only tell me how
husaberigmailcom: First let me know your question properly?

Molecular mass of ammonia is 17g
number of molecules =weight /molecules mass
= 8.5g/17g
=0.5moles
