Given:-

→Number of moles of water = 0.5

To find:-

→Number of molecules present in

0.5mole of water

Solution:-

•Avogadro Number = 6.022×10²³

Here in this question, number of moles of water is given and we have to find the number of molecules present in that mole.

Now:-

Number of molecules:-

Number of moles × Avogadro number

= 0.5×6.022×10²³

= 3.011×10²³ molecules

Thus, 3.011×10²³ molecules are present in 0.5 mole of water.

Some Extra Information:-

Number of moles:-

There are 2 formulae to find number of moles:-

(i) Given Mass/Molar mass

(ii) Given no of particles/Avogadro number

The number of atoms:-

Number of moles × Avogadro number

The number of molecules:-

Number of moles × Avogadro number
