Explanation:

At S.T.P, the volume of one mole of a gas is 22.4 L

1 L = 1000cc

therefore,

1.12 X 10 X 1000 L volume is present at STP. Using unitary method ,

22.4 L for one mole,

11200 L for X moles

therefore X= 500 moles

The number of molecules can then be found out easily by using n X Avogadro's number

we get,

500 X 6.022X 10^23

= 30.110 X 10 ^23 molecules
