Number of molecules present in 4.4g of carbon

Number of moles = mass / molar mass

= 4.4 / 44

= 0.1 moles

Number of moles = moles × Avogadro's Number

 =  > 1 \times 10 ^{ - 1}  \times (6.022 \times 10 ^{23} )

 =  > 6.022 \times 10 ^{ - 1 + 23}

 =  > 6.022 \times 10 ^{22}
