The number of moles of 44.8 litres of oxygen is 2

• Because 22.4 litres of oxygen means 1 mole of oxygen and 2×22.4=44.8 litres of oxygen means 1×2=2 moles of oxygen.

• O2 has molecular weight= 32 gm/mol

1 kg O2= 1000 gm×(1mol/32gm)= 31.25 mol of O2

Ideal gas law :

V=nRT

V= 31.25× 0.0821×273.15/1=700.8 L of O2 at STP

The mass would be

(44.8/700.8)kg = 0.0639 kg
