8.516÷ 17 = number of moles... where 17 is the molecular mass of ammonia ( NH3) ... now multiply it by avogadro no. ( 6.022 × 10 raise to power 23) to get no. of molecules

number of moles = given mass÷ molecular mass

number of molecules = number of moles x Avogadro number

number of atoms = number of moles x Avogadro number x atomicity

molecular mass = 17

no.of moles =8.516÷17

= 0.5009

Avogadro number = 6.022 x 10 ^23

atomicity = 1+3=4

no.of molecules = 0.5009 x 6.022 x10^23

= 3.011x10^23

no.of atoms = 1.202×10^24

hope so....
