Calculate the number of moles and the number of molecules present in 6.4g of sulphur

dioxide. What is the volume occupied by the same amount of ethylene ?

ii) What is the vapour density of ethylene?

No. Of moles= mass/molar mass=6.4/(32+2*16)=0.1
In 28g of ethylene which is molar mass it's volume is=22.4 L
Thus in 6.4g=22.4*6.4/28=5.12L
Vapour density =molar mass/2
=28/2=14
