= 1 (c) + 2(o)

= 1 (12) + 2 (16)

= 12 + 32

= 44 g.


Later,

We know that,

No. Of moles = weight of CO2 ÷ molar mass

n = 500 mg / 44 g

But the weight is not in SI unit.

Then,

W = 500mg = 500× 10-3

= 0.5 g.

Therefore,

No. Of moles = 0.5 / 44 g

n = o. 01136 g.
