calculate the number of moles in 2g ​

Answer:

moles in 2g of hydrogen (H2)= given mass/molar mass = 2g/2*1g = 1 mol.

moles in 32g of oxygen (O2)= given mass/molar mass = 32g/2*16g = 1 mol.

hence ratio= 1 mol/1 mol = 1:1.

Note: this has been done by assuming that both hydrogen and oxygen are in the gaseous form and not nascent form.
