Dear Student,

◆ Answers -

  • Moles of copper = 2 mol
  • Moles of iron = 0.5 mol
  • Moles of CO2 = 0.25 mol

◆ Explanation -

(i) 12.046x10^23 atoms of Copper -

Moles of copper = atoms of copper / Avogadro's number

Moles of copper = 12.046×10^23 / 6.022×10^23

Moles of copper = 2 mol

(ii) 27.95 g of Iron -

Moles of iron = given mass of iron / molar mass of iron

Moles of iron = 27.95 / 55.85

Moles of iron = 0.5 mol

(iii) 1.51x10^23 molecules of CO2 -

Moles of CO2 = molecules of CO2 / Avogadro's number

Moles of CO2 = 1.51×10^23 / 6.022×10^23

Moles of CO2 = 0.25 mol

Thanks dear...
