RMM of CO₂ = 12+(16*2) g

= 12+32 g

= 44 g

RMM of H₂ = 1*2 g

= 2 g

1 mole of any element results in having 6.022*10²³ atoms.

a. Given grams of CO₂ = 22

No. of moles = 22/44

= 0.5

b. Given atoms of H₂  = 3.011

No. of moles = 3.011/6.023*10⁻²³

= 0.499*10⁻²³
