(Atomic mass of Fe = 56u, S = 32u, O = 16u)
[1+1+1]
(a) 98 g of Fe
(b) 18.066 x 102 atoms of SO,

Answer:

The reaction is,

Sodium carbonate + ethanoic acid → sodium ethanoate + carbon dioxide + water

5.3g + 6g → 8.2g + 2.2g + 0.9g

Now,

Total mass of reactants = (5.3 + 6)g = 11.3g

And, total mass of products = (8.2 + 2.2 + 0.9)g = 11.39g

So, Mass of reactants = Mass of product

It shows the law of conservation of mass.
