mole C6H12O6 = 45 / 180 = 0.25
molar ratio of O to glucose = 6 / 1  ( 6 moles of O in 1 C6H12O6)

molar ratio of O to glucose = mole of O / mole of glucose
therefore mole of O = molar ratio X mole of glucose
                                = 6 X 0.25
                                = 1.5 moles

shashwat4: you can calculate the molar mass of the substance the mass is 46gm
vishesrao: mole C6H12O6 = 45 / 180 = 0.25
molar ratio of O to glucose = 6 / 1 ( 6 moles of O in 1 C6H12O6)

molar ratio of O to glucose = mole of O / mole of glucose
therefore mole of O = molar ratio X mole of glucose
= 6 X 0.25
= 1.5 moles
