Explanation Moles=No. of atoms/Avagadro's no

thus,for hydrogen ,

5=n/6.022*10^23

n=30.11*10^23

Similarly,

n for Oxygen=48.17*10^23

We know hydrogen combines with oxygen in 2:1 ratio.

Thus H20 formed=30.11*10^23/2 atoms

i.e.15*10^23 atoms

convert it into moles by dividing by avagadro's no.

moles=2.5
