Given:-

→Mass of glucose = 180g

To find:-

→Number of moles in 180g of glucose

Solution:-

Chemical formula of glucose:-

=>CHO

Thus,three elements are present in glucose i.e. Carbon,Hydrogen and Oxygen

•Atomic mass of Carbon = 12u

•Atomic mass of Hydrogen = 1u

•Atomic mass of Oxygen = 16u

Thus,molecular mass of glucose:-

=>12(6)+1(12)+16(6)

=>72+12+96

=>180u

Molecular mass of glucose is 180u

Molar mass of glucose is 180g.

Now,number of moles:-

=>Given Mass/Molar mass

=>180/180

=>1 mole

Thus, 1 mole is present in 180g of glucose.
