so total no of neutrons in H₂O = 0 × 2 + 8 = 8

NO OF NEUTRONS = MOLES × NO OF NEUTRONS PRESENT × Na

where Na is Avogadro's no. =  6.022 × 10²³

no of neutrons = 2 × 8 × 6.022 × 10²³

                         = 9.635 × 10²⁴

To solve this question think abt this first..how many no. of neutrons are there in 1 molecule of H2O?

If you know the answer to this question you more or less close to finding the answer to the actual question.

No. of neutrons in one molecule of water=0+8=8 neutrons.

Now as we know 1 mole contains 6.022*10^-23 molecules thus in 2 moles of water there will be 12.044*10^-23 molecules.

Thus the total no. of neutrons = 12.044*10^-23*8

= 96.352*10^-23
