The molecular formula of CaCO3 is 40+12+(16)3= 100
Hence, we have 50/100= 0.5mol of CaCO3.
From the formula, we can see that in 1 mol of CaCO3, 3 mol of oxygen atoms are present.
∴In 0.5 mol, we have 1.5 mol of oxygen atoms.
1 mol=6.022*10^23 particle, which, by math, gives us 9.011*10^23 atoms of oxygen in 50g of CaCO3.
