Answer : The number of particles in 8g of nitrogen molecule is, 1.716\times 10^{23} number of particles

Solution : Given,

Mass of nitrogen = 8 g

Molar mass of nitrogen molecule = 28 g/mole

First we have to calculate the moles of nitrogen.

\text{Moles of nitrogen}=\frac{\text{ given mass of nitrogen}}{\text{ molar mass of nitrogen}}= \frac{8g}{28g/mole}=0.285moles

Now we have to calculate the number of particles.

As, 1 mole of nitrogen contains 6.022\times 10^{23} number of particles

So, 0.285 mole of nitrogen contains 0.285\times 6.022\times 10^{23}=1.716\times 10^{23} number of particles

Therefore, the number of particles in 8g of nitrogen molecule is, 1.716\times 10^{23} number of particles
