Solution:-

Given:-

→ Mass of sucrose (w)= 3.42g

→ Volume(v) = 1 lit.

→ Temperature (T) = 400k

Formula

→ Osmotic pressure( π)= n/v ×RT

Where

n = mass/molar mass

→ molar mass of sucrose is 342g/mol

→mass of sucrose is 3.42g

Now

n=3.42/342= 0.01

→R is constant so value of R =0.0821

Put the value on formula

→ Osmotic pressure( π)= n/v ×RT

→0.01/1×0.0821×400

→0.01×0.0821×400

→0.3284 atm

Answer

→Osmotic pressure is 0.3284atm
