GIVEN,

  • shrined radius= 3%
  • mass=unchanged

FORMULA;

g=GM/R²                     G=gravitational constant

As R is decreased by 3%

So new radius , R'= R-0.03R

                           R'=0.97R

So, New g, g'=GM/(0.97R)²

                     g'=1.06GM/R²

THUS THERE IS APPROXIMATE  1.06% CHANGE IN ACCELERATION DUE TO GRAVITY
