Molecular mass of H2SO4 = 2+32+(16×4)=98g

Molar mass of S in 1 mole of H2SO4 = 32g

Therefore % of S in H2SO4 = 32 / 98 × 100 = 32.65%

Asked :-

Calculate the percentage composition of "S" in H2so4 ??

As we know :-

   \frac{mass \: of \: sulfhur}{molecular \: mass \: of \: compound} \times 100

Solution :-

   \frac{mass \: of \: sulfhur}{molecular \: mass \: of \: compound} \times 100

 \frac{32 \times 1}{1 \times 2 + 32 + 16 \times 4} \times 100

 \frac{32}{98} \times 100

32.65

Required answer is 32.65
