Molar mass of CuSO4.5H2O =250
mass of water of crystallization = 5 x 18 = 90
% = 90/250 x 100 = 36 %

Answer:

36%

Explanation:

Water of Crystallization means that the amount of water molecules that are present  in a crystal.

Now Given is blue vitral (CuSO4.5H20)

Now we need to calculate the amount of water crystallization it contains

So in the given solution CuSO4.5H20= water content is H= 2*1 =2, O= 16

i.e 16+2=18

therefore 5H20 = 5*18= 90

now,

Molar mass of CuSO4.5H2O =250

therefore

% = 90/250 x 100 = 36 %
