Given :-

• Length of rectangle is = 7 cm

• Breadth of rectangle is = 4 cm

To Find :-

• Perimeter and area of the rectangle

Solution :-

We know that,

Perimeter of rectangle = 2 ( Length + Breadth)

Area of rectangle = Length × Breadth

Given that,

Length of rectangle is 7 cm

Breadth of rectangle is 4 cm

Substituting the given values, we get

Perimeter of rectangle = 2 ( Length + Breadth)

⟶ Perimeter of rectangle

= 2 ( 7 + 4) cm

= 22 cm

Area of rectangle = Length × Breadth

⟶Area of rectangle

= 7 × 4

= 28 cm²

Hence,

Perimeter of the rectangle is = 22 cm

Area of the rectangle is = 28 cm²

Perimeter of a Rectangle = 2 (l + b)

Area of a Rectangle = l × b

Diagonal of a Rectangle = √( l² + b² )

Where,

l = Length

b = Breadth
