- Given image and formulas and asked to calculate the perimeter of the figure.
- First, Understand the figure.
- We know that AB = CD + DG { Opposite sides of Rectangle }
- {EF and DG are equal i.e opposite sides of square}
- Now, AB + BC + CD + DE + EF + FG + GH + HA =
- 13.2 + 6.1 + 9.1 + 4.1 + 4.1 + 4.1 + 8.3 + 8.3 =
- Perimeter is the distance or boundary around a 2 dimensional figure.
- Perimeter of square = 4 * side = 4s
- Perimeter of Rectangle = 2 ( l + b )
- Perimeter of Triangle = a + b + c

Answer:
Solution :-
At first finding perimeter of AB
Perimeter = 2(7.1 + 6.3)
=> 2(13.4)
=> 26.8 y
Now,
Perimeter of AGH
=> 7.1 + 8.3 + 8.3
=> 7.1 + 16.4
=> 23.5 y
Now,
Perimeter of FE = 4 × 4.1
=> 16.4 y
Now,
Total perimeter = S1 + S2 + S3
=> 26.8 + 23.5 + 16.4 y
=> 66.7 cm
