Calculate the PH of 0.1 M HCL.

pH = -log[H3O+]

For a strong monoprotic acid like HCl, the hydronium ion concentration should be the same as the acid concentration. So we can say that [H3O+] = 0.01 M.

pH = -log(0.01 M)

pH = -(-2)

pH = 2
