Moles of NaOH = 4g / (40 g/mol) = 0.1 mol

Molarity of NaOH = 0.1 mol / 1 Litre = 0.1 molar

[OH-] = 0.1

pOH = -log[OH-]

= - log(0.1)

= 1

pH = 14 - pOH

= 14 - 1

= 13

pH of given NaOH solution is 13
