calculate the pH value of a solution obtained by mixing 10 ml of 2.1 M H2 S o4 and 10 ml of 4.1 M solution​

Answer:

Molar mass of KOH = 56 gm

Equivalent mass of KOH= 56 gm(since there is no replaceable hydrogen hence molar mass = equivalent mass)

So, 1 M KOH= 1 N KOH

or, 0.1 M KOH= 0.1 N KOH

Now given that 10 ml of 0.1 M H2SO4 and 10 ml of 0.1 N( or 0.1 M) KOH is mixed

No of milli moles of H2SO4 present= 10 * 0.1= 1

No of milli moles of KOH present= 10*0.1=1

Since the no. of millimoles of both H2SO4 and KOH are equal, they neutralise each other.

Hence pH of the solution is 7
