Answer:

Given:

Current flowing through the circuit = 3 ampere

Resistance in the circuit = 1 ohm

To find:

Potential difference across the resistance

Concept:

Potential difference is the driving force for movement of electrons within a conductor such that current is generated through the circuit.

According to OHM'S LAW , If the physical parameters like temperature remain constant , the potential difference is directly proportional to the Current flowing through the circuit.

Calculation:

 \bigstar \:  \: V= I  \times R

 =  \:  \: V= 3 \times 1

 =  \:  \: V= 3  \: volt

So final answer is :

Potential difference across the resistance is 3 V

Solutions:-

given data :- I = 1 ohm , R = 3A

potential difference is V

formula for potential difference is

V = I × R

V = 1 × 3

V = 3 volt

Hence potential difference is 3 volt.

I hope it helps you......
