potential energy = mass x acceleration due to gravity x height

                          = 0.01 x 10 x 5 = 0.5 joules.

(we have to convert mass in kg in this question so i have taken it as 0.01 kg)

hope it helps:)

We have,

m = 10 g = 0.01kg

g = 10 m s ^-2

h = 2m

So,

P E = mgh

= 0.01 x 10 x 5

= 50 x 0.01

= 0.50 J
