where,

I = Current in Ampere

Solving
Power
P = V * I
P = 250 * 2
P = 500 Watt
or
P = 0.5 KWh
Energy consumed
Here, time is 3 minutes.
So, 3 minutes in seconds is
3 * 60 seconds = 180 seconds
E = P * t
E = 500 * 180
E = 9 * 10⁴ Joules
