Calculate the power of an engine which can pull a mass of 500 metric ton up an inclination rising 1 in 100 with a velocity of 10m/sā€‹

Consider the x-axis parallel to an incline and consider the projections of the forces on it. All the quantities at the right side are given. In numbers it is (2000+500,000*9.8*0.01)*10=510,000 (watts) = 510 kilowatts. The answer: the power of the engine is 510 KW.
