calculate the power used in the 2 ohm resistor
(i) a 6v battery in series with
1 ohm and 2 ohm resistors​

current is equal so but potential difference is changed

current in first resistance = v/I = 6/1 = 6 amp

pd in second resistance =i× r = 6×2 = 12 volt

heat = v^2/r = 12×12/2 =144/2 =72 joule.
