we know that power consumed by resistor is given by formula i^2R.
where i is current flowing through that resistor.
Now as we have given that resistor are in series, their equivalent resistance will be 1+2ohm i.e 3ohm
current(i) will be voltage/resistance= 6/3=2amp
now power consumed my 2ohm resistor will be = 2^2 * 2= 8 W
