ur answer:-

as we know that pressure = F / A

when it is placed upright its length and breadth will be 10 and 5 cm respectively

so area = 10 X 5=50cm²[ convert centimetre² into metre²] = 0.005m²

P = 2.5N/ 0.005m² = 500N/m-²

incase second it is placed on widest waste that is 25 cm

so area=25X10=2500cm²=0.25m²

pressure=2.5N/0.25m²=10N/m-²
