The cubical box exerts pressure on the floor when it is placed on either of its faces.

A cubical has a pair of three faces thus it can exert pressure in three different ways.

Pressure  = Force / Area

Let pressure be P and Force be F.

Area of face 1 = (0.5 × 0.3) = 0.15 m²

P₁ = (F / 0.15) N/M²

Area of face 2 = (0.5 × 0.1) = 0.05 m²

P₂= (F / 0.05 ) N/M²

Area of face 3 = (0.1 × 0.3) = 0.03 m²

P₃= (F / 0.03) N/M²

We should take note that the force is constant and only the pressure varies with area.

Area of face 2 = (0.5 × 0.1) = 0.05 m²
