Pressure = \frac{Force}{Area}

______________________________

GIVEN:-

Force = 25N

Area = 20cm = 0.2m = 0.002m²

_____________________________

Applying the formula, we get

Pressure = 25/0.02

Pressure = 1250 Nm^-1

The pressure thus applied is \green{\huge{1250Nm^{-1}}}

So , what is pressure ?

The force applied per unit area is called pressure . It's S.I. unit is Pascal .It is generally expressed in the form of N/m^2.

ANSWER :

Force = 25N

Area = 20cm^2

= 20/10000m^2.

So, according to definition, Pressure = Force /Area

=25N/20m^2÷1000.

= 25N × 1000/20m^2.

= 1250N/m^2.

=1250Pascal.

=1250Pa.
