Explanation:

we know that,

P =  \frac{F}{A}

P =  \frac{50N}{10{m}^{2}}

P = 5N {m}^{-2}

Explanation:

Given : -

  • a force of 50N is applied .

  • over an area of 10m².

To Find : -

  • Calculate the pressure produced.

Solution :-

Convert area cm into metre

10/100 = 0.01

Pressure = Force/ Area

Pressure = 50/0.1

pressure = 500

Hence the pressure produced is 500

More information :-

  • The force which is applied perpendicularly on any object's surface unit area is called as Pressure.

  • The pressure is calculated by following fomula - P = F/A.
