Answer:- 5

Given data is;- 39,55,47,34,37,25,32,40,45,50,42,55,47,39,40

First we need to arrange this data in ascending order i.e.,

25,32,34,37,39,39,40,40,42,45,47,47,50,55,55

Number of observations (n) = 15

Now we need to find Q1 and Q3

So, Q1 = (n+1)/4

= (15+1)/4

= 16/4 =4th term

Therefore 4th term = 37

Now we will find Q3

Q3= 3(n+1)/4

= 3(15+1)/4

=3*16/4

=3*4=12th term

Therefore 12th term = 47

Now,

Quartile derivation = (Q3 - Q1)/2

                                = (47 - 37)/2

                                = 10/2

                                 = 5

Therefore the answer of this question is 5.
