Given,

Length of the wire=27m

Resistance of the wire=54Ω

Resistivity of the wire=  25.12 × 10–2Ωm

To Find,

Radius of cross section of the wire.

Solution,

We have the formula for resistance,

R=pl/A(∵Where p is resistivity)

⇒A =pl/R

⇒A= 25.12 × 10^-2×27/54

     =12.56×10^-2m²

Then for radius we know A=πR²

                                         ⇒R=√A/π

                                         ⇒R=√12.56×10^-2m²/3.14

                                               =√4×10^-2m²

                                               =2×10^-1m=0.2m

Hence, Radius of cross section of a wire is 0.2m.
