To calculate the radius of the nucleus of ⁸₄Be atom, we follow the equation

 R=r_{0}A^{^{1/3}}

Here R= Radius of the ⁸₄Be.

r₀= 1.2×10⁻¹⁵ m

Whereas A is nucleon number, that is total number of neutrons and protons.

For Be,

A=8

So putting all the values in the equation, we will get:

 R=1.2\times 10^{-15}\times 8^{1/3}

=2.23×10⁻¹⁵m

So the radius is 2.23×10⁻¹⁵m
